2021 – 2022 Archive

Thank you for joining us at the 2022 Virtual 5 Borough Legislative Breakfast

As mentioned during the breakfast, below are the links to the one-click action items. In case you were not able to complete it during the breakfast we ask you to take a few minutes to complete the two forms today. We only have a couple of weeks before the state budget is set for final passage.

The first link is a letter to Governor Hochul. We’re asking her to make some needed changes that we need to happen to ensure that the 11% benefits the children in our 4410 and 853 schools.

The second link is a letter to members of the NYS Assembly and NYS Senate asking for their support in investing in New Yorkers with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Why do those with the most needs get the least?

Once again our children and our teachers were ignored by New York State.

They got nothing to close the salary gap between public school teachers and our teachers even though our schools are part of the public school system -supplying for the schools cannot.

We WILL NO longer stand for this discriminatory treatment of Our children and educators.

Help us make the change!
